Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing-Nursing seeks a Travel CVICU RN for a 13-week assignment in Joliet, IL. This travel opportunity offers 36 hours per week, night shifts, and competitive pay with comprehensive benefits. Requires 1 year CVICU RN experience, active RN license, BLS and ACLS certifications. CCRN/TNCC/NIHSS preferred.

You will work in a rigorous ICU environment, providing critical care, advanced life support, and collaborative patient care with a dedicated clinical team.

Qualifications

• One year of recent experience as a CVICU RN
• Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations
• Current BLS (AHA/ARC) and ACLS (AHA/ARC) certifications

Responsibilities

• Assess and monitor critically ill patients in the ICU
• Administer complex medications and treatments per critical care standards
• Operate and manage advanced life support equipment
• Maintain patient safety and comfort in high-acuity ICU settings
• Document assessments, interventions, and responses timely in the medical record
• Provide education to patients and families about ICU care and recovery expectations
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to optimize patient care
• Engage in ongoing education to maintain proficiency in critical care
