MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel CT Technologist for a contract assignment in Farmington, New Mexico. The role involves operating CT equipment, ensuring image quality, and supporting radiologists with procedures in a travel staffing setting.

The position requires 18 months of CT Tech experience, ARRT (CT) or ASRT certification, licensure as needed, and the ability to work independently or in a team. Includes benefits and travel support.

Qualifications

• Eighteen months of CT Tech experience in a healthcare setting.
• Must hold ARRT (CT) or ASRT certification.
• Licensure is required in most states.
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team.

Responsibilities

• Position patients for CT scans with proper immobilization and protection.
• Set controls and monitor CT equipment and patient as needed.
• Assist radiologists with imaging procedures and IVs; inject contrast when applicable.
• Dispense oral contrast for CT scans as required.
• Assist with interventional CT procedures and ensure image quality.
• Schedule procedures and support related clerical tasks; document charges.
• Maintain a safe work environment and deliver compassionate patient care.
• Contribute to cost-effective, high-quality patient care and patient safety.
