Job summary

MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Travel CT Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Carmichael, California. The role requires 18 months of CT experience, ARRT/ASRT certification, and licensure in most states. Work consists of nights on a 10-hour shift with 40 hours per week.

You will operate CT equipment, assist radiologists, and ensure high-quality imaging while maintaining patient safety and complying with credentialing requirements.

Qualifications

• Eighteen months prior experience in a health care setting as a CT Tech.
• Must be ARRT (CT) or ASRT certified.
• Most states require licensure.
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Position patients for CT scans using immobilization and protective equipment.
• Set controls of related equipment, monitor, and patient; make adjustments as needed.
• Assist radiologist with imaging, start IVs, inject contrast if applicable.
• Dispense oral contrast to patients for CT scans.
• Assist radiologist with interventional CT procedures.
• Evaluate CT scans for technical quality and label images correctly.
• Schedule patients for procedures and assist with clerical tasks.
• Charge procedures and supplies to patient records.
• Load and operate power injections for contrast media.
• Deliver quality, cost-effective patient care in a professional manner.
• Maintain a safe work environment focused on patient safety.
