Job summary

TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel CT Technologist to support a 13-week engagement in Pittsburgh, PA. The CT Tech will handle imaging, contrast administration, and image quality checks, working 40 hours per week on a rotating 10-hour shift.

The candidate must have ARRT CT and BLS, plus state licensing if required, and at least 1 year of experience. Responsibilities include patient prep, positioning, CT image acquisition, and keeping accurate records.

Qualifications

• Must have 1 year of CT experience.
• Must have ARRT (CT) National Certification with registration in CT and BLS.
• State licensing as required for the role.
• 2 years experience referenced in posting.

Responsibilities

• Verify patient identity and review imaging requests; explain procedures to patients.
• Position patients to scan target areas; ensure patient comfort and safety.
• Operate CT equipment to acquire diagnostic images.
• Administer radiocontrast agents as needed to enhance visibility.
• Evaluate scans for technical quality; ensure accurate records.
• Maintain patient records and familiarity with PACS systems.
