• Most states require licensure
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team

Responsibilities

• Position CT technologists to operate CT equipment and produce cross-sectional images for diagnosis
• Set up and position patients using immobilization and protective equipment
• Assist radiologists with imaging procedures and contrast administration when applicable
• Schedule patients and assist with clerical functions as needed
• Ensure proper labeling and documentation of CT studies
• Deliver quality patient care in a safe, professional environment
