MedPro Healthcare Allied Staffing is seeking a travel CT Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Reno, Nevada. The role requires 18 months of CT experience, ARRT/ASRT certification, and licensure where required.

You will work 12-hour days, totaling 36 hours per week, in a travel capacity with potential housing and benefits through the agency. The CT Tech will perform imaging procedures, assist radiologists, and ensure image quality and patient safety.

Formación

• Eighteen months prior experience in a health care setting as a CT Tech
• must be ARRT (CT) or ASRT certified
• Most states require licensure
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.

Responsabilidades

• Position CT technologists, operate CT equipment to produce cross-sectional images.
• Position patients for CT scans using immobilization and protective equipment as necessary.
• Set controls, monitor equipment and patient, and make necessary adjustments.
• Assist radiologist with imaging procedures, starting IVs and injecting contrast when applicable.
• Dispense oral contrast to patients for CT scans.
• Assist radiologist with interventional CT procedures.
• Evaluate CT scans for technical quality and label results.
• Schedule patients for procedures and assist with clerical tasks.
• Charge procedures and supplies to patient records.
• Load and operate power injections for contrast media administration.
• Deliver high-quality, cost-effective patient care in a professional manner.
• Maintain a safe, patient-focused environment and promote national patient safety initiatives.
