Job summary

MedPro Healthcare Staffing seeks a travel CT Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Atlanta, Georgia. The role requires 18 months of CT experience, ARRT (CT) or ASRT certification, and licensure where required.

You will operate CT equipment, assist radiologists, and ensure high-quality imaging while working in a travel-friendly environment. The position offers a 36-hour week, day shifts, and a comprehensive benefits package as part of a contract with top healthcare facilities.

Qualifications

• Eighteen months prior experience in a health care setting as a CT Tech.
• Must be ARRT (CT) or ASRT certified.
• Most states require licensure.
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Position patients for CT scans.
• Set controls of CT equipment and monitor patient and equipment.
• Assist radiologist with imaging procedures, IVs, and contrast if applicable.
• Dispense oral contrast to patients for CT scans.
• Assist radiologist with interventional CT procedures.
• Evaluate CT scans for technical quality and label images.
• Schedule patients for procedures and assist with clerical tasks.
• Charge procedures and supplies to patient record.
• Operate power injections for contrast media administration.
• Deliver quality, cost-effective patient care with a patient-focused approach.
• Maintain a safe work environment aligned with patient safety initiatives.
