Job summary

TotalMed Allied seeks a CT Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment in Oshkosh, WI. The role requires 1 year of CT experience, ARRT CT certification, BLS, and licensure as needed. Shift is 12 hours, nights, with travel benefits and weekly pay.

The CT Tech will operate CT equipment, administer contrast, and ensure accurate imaging for physicians. Emphasis on safety, patient care, and PACS proficiency.

Qualifications

• 1 year of CT technologist experience
• ARRT (CT) certification and BLS
• State licensure as required by state law

Responsibilities

• Confirm patient identification, review imaging requests and explain procedures to patients.
• Interpret doctors' instructions accurately.
• Position patients for scans and ensure proper alignment.
• Operate CT equipment to capture diagnostic images of internal organs and tissues.
• Administer radiocontrast agents to enhance visibility.
• Evaluate CT images for technical quality and adequacy for interpretation.
• Follow radiation safety procedures at all times.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
• Utilize McKesson PACS for image management.
