Job summary

Supplemental Health Care is seeking a Travel CT Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Hackensack, New Jersey. The position offers 40 hours per week with 8-hour shifts at a partner hospital, delivering CT imaging and patient care in a fast-paced radiology department.

The ideal candidate holds ARRT CT and Radiography credentials, an active radiologic license where applicable, and 1–2 years of CT experience, with BLS required and ACLS preferred. Travel experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree from an accredited Radiologic Technology program
• ARRT certification in Radiography (R); ARRT (CT) certification preferred
• Active state radiologic technologist license (if applicable)
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association; ACLS preferred
• 1–2 years of experience as a Radiologic Technologist; prior CT imaging experience strongly preferred
• Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and CT imaging protocols

Responsibilities

• Using computerized tomography equipment to capture diagnostic images
• Sterilizing radiologic equipment to ensure the safety of patients
• Explaining scanning procedures to patients
• Ensure patient safety and comfort, including appropriate radiation protection practices
• Evaluating CT scans to determine whether they are of good technical quality
