Cross Country Allied is seeking a travel CT Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Harrisburg, PA performing computed tomography procedures with contrast using established protocols and ensuring patient safety. Responsibilities include operating advanced imaging equipment, adjusting protocols as needed, venipuncture, contrast administration, and clear patient communication in a fast-paced travel setting.

2 years of experience and ARRT CNMT credentials are required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an ARRT approved school of Radiologic Technology or CNMT program.
• CT registry must be acquired within 18 months of the date the primary registry was acquired or date of hire.
• 2 years of experience required.
• Valid ARRT Certificate, Nuclear Medicine Technologist Certification, BLS and PA Act 31/33/34/73.

Responsibilities

• Independently performs CT procedures using established protocols and contrast administration.
• Adjusts protocols with clinical judgment for diagnostic CT purposes.
• Operates complex imaging equipment for acquisition, analysis, reconstruction, and documentation of images.
• Performs venipuncture and uses power injectors per protocol.
• Administers contrast per physician orders and assesses patient risk before administration.
• Engages with patients, explains procedures, and maintains dignity and respect.
• Verifies patient identity with two identifiers and follows universal protocol.
• Reviews history, applies departmental protocols, and codes exams accurately.
• Documents patient history and ensures proper coding, networking, and charges.
