American Traveler is seeking a Travel CT Technologist for a rural Edgefield, South Carolina assignment. The role combines dual CT/X-ray duties in a small facility, requiring ARRT CT certification and 3+ years of experience, with night shifts and 36 hours per week.

The position involves independent work, PACS/Epic EMR usage, and potential local shifts within the network. Licensure in SC and scraping for trauma experience are important, with travel-specific requirements noted.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience required.
• ARRT CT, ARRT R, and BLS certification required.
• SCRQSA certification required.
• Must be licensed to practice in SC at time of submission; no pending licenses accepted.
• Community hospital experience required.
• Level I and II Trauma experience preferred.
• Experience with abdomen/pelvis, chest, head/neck, and spine/musculoskeletal CT studies.
• Skilled in contrast media preparation/administration, IV starts, and venipuncture.
• Knowledge of isolation precautions/PPE and radiation safety.
• Experience with 3D rendering, multiplanar reconstruction, and ROI measurement.
• Age-specific competency across neonate through older adult populations.
• First-time travelers will not be considered.

Responsabilités

• Perform dual CT and X-ray imaging duties independently.
• Potential to float within the hospital or to nearby affiliate hospitals.
• Work nights, 3x12 hour shifts, with 36 hours per week.
