Job summary

Supplemental Health Care is seeking a CT Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment in Farmington, ME. You will perform CT imaging, ensure patient safety, and collaborate with a partner hospital, offering competitive pay and schedule flexibility.

Requirements include ARRT certification, state license, and 1–2 years of radiologic experience, with CT experience preferred. Travel assignments include night shifts and 36 hours per week.

Qualifications

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree from an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• ARRT certification in Radiography (R); ARRT (CT) certification preferred.
• Active state radiologic technologist license (if applicable).
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association; ACLS preferred.
• 1-2 years of experience as a Radiologic Technologist; prior CT imaging experience strongly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and CT imaging protocols.

Responsibilities

• Using computerized tomography equipment to capture diagnostic images.
• Sterilizing radiologic equipment to ensure the safety of patients.
• Explaining scanning procedures to patients.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort, including appropriate radiation protection practices.
• Evaluating CT scans to determine whether they are of good technical quality.
