Supplemental Health Care is seeking a CT Technologist for a travel assignment in Gainesville, FL. The position runs for 13 weeks, with 36 hours per week on a night shift, at a partnering hospital to apply CT imaging skills.

Qualifications

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree from an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• ARRT certification in Radiography (R); CT certification preferred.
• Active state radiologic technologist license (if applicable).
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association; ACLS preferred.
• 1–2 years Radiologic Technologist experience; CT imaging preferred.
• Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology and CT imaging protocols.

Responsibilities

• Operates CT equipment to capture diagnostic images.
• Sterilizes radiologic equipment to ensure patient safety.
• Explains scanning procedures to patients.
• Ensures patient safety and radiation protection.
• Evaluates CT scans for technical quality.
