Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a travel CT Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Salinas, CA. The role offers 36 hours per week on 12-hour night shifts, with travel benefits and a supportive clinical team.

The CT Tech will operate CT scanners, prepare patients, ensure safety, and collaborate with radiologists to obtain high-quality diagnostic images. One year of CT experience and CA radiology licensure are expected.

Qualifications

• One year of recent CT Technologist experience.
• Valid radiology license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).
• ARRT certification preferred.
• Other licenses and certifications may be required for this position.

Responsibilities

• Operate CT equipment to produce cross-sectional images for diagnostic purposes.
• Prepare patients for procedures, explain imaging process, and position patients.
• Set appropriate technical parameters to demonstrate anatomy and pathology.
• Provide high-quality images to Radiologist for interpretation.
• Adhere to radiation safety standards and hospital policies.
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of CT equipment.
• Document patient information and imaging parameters in the hospital system.
• Collaborate with radiologists and physicians to deliver timely diagnostic services.
• Adapt to different CT equipment and protocols across facilities.
• Perform other duties within CT Tech scope.
