Job summary

MedPro Healthcare Allied Staffing is seeking a travel CT Technologist for a travel job in Roswell, New Mexico. This contract role involves 13 weeks, 36 hours per week, nights, and 12-hour shifts, with travel reimbursement and housing support.

You will work with experienced radiology teams, assisting radiologists, preparing patients, and ensuring image quality and safety standards are met. ARRT/ASRT certification and licensure requirements apply across states as needed.

Qualifications

• 18 months prior experience in a health care setting as a CT Tech.
• ARRT (CT) or ASRT certified.
• Most states require licensure.
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Position patients for CT scans using immobilization and protective equipment as necessary.
• Set controls on CT equipment and monitor patient and equipment, making adjustments as needed.
• Assist radiologist with imaging procedures, IVs, and contrast administration if applicable.
• Dispense oral contrast to patients for CT scans.
• Assist radiologist with interventional CT procedures.
• Evaluate CT scans for technical quality and label images in sequence of exposure.
• Schedule procedures and assist with some clerical tasks.
• Charge procedures and supplies to patient records.
• Load and operate power injections for contrast media administration.
• Deliver high-quality, cost-effective patient care in a professional manner.
• Maintain a safe, patient-centered environment and promote safety initiatives.
