Job summary

Medasource is seeking a travel CT Technologist for a 13-week night shift assignment at IU Health West Hospital in Avon, Indiana. You will perform diagnostic CT imaging with a focus on patient safety, image quality, and clear communication with the care team.

Requirements include ARRT credential and BLS certification, plus 0–3 years of CT experience. Schedule is 12-hour nights, with 5:30 PM–6:00 AM shifts, Monday, Thursday, and Friday. Weekly pay and stipends are provided.

Qualifications

• ARRT credential required.
• BLS certification required (AHA).
• Relevant experience within 0–3 years preferred.
• Ability to position patients and maneuver equipment.
• Knowledge of CT protocols, contrast administration, and safety.

Responsibilities

• Operate CT equipment and prepare, screen, and position patients for imaging.
• Obtain IV access and administer contrast as required, recognizing and responding to adverse reactions.
• Select appropriate scan protocols and adjust parameters to produce diagnostic-quality images.
• Collaborate with radiologists and referring physicians to address clinical concerns.
• Follow radiation safety protocols and perform routine equipment quality checks.
• Document necessary information in the electronic medical record.
• Assist with medical alerts and minimally invasive procedures as needed.
• Explain procedures and communicate effectively with patients and care team members.
