Job summary

Supplemental Health Care is seeking a travel CT Technologist for a contract in Mount Airy, North Carolina. Responsibilities include performing CT imaging, ensuring patient safety, and explaining procedures on a 12-hour night shift, 36 hours per week, for 13 weeks with potential extension.

The position requires ARRT certification, an accredited Radiologic Technology degree, an active state license, and BLS (ACLS preferred).

Qualifications

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree from an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• ARRT Radiography (R) certification; ARRT CT certification preferred.
• Active state radiologic technologist license (if applicable).
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association; ACLS preferred.
• 1–2 years of Radiologic Technologist experience; CT imaging experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and CT imaging protocols.

Responsibilities

• Using computerized tomography equipment to capture diagnostic images.
• Sterilizing radiologic equipment to ensure patient safety.
• Explaining scanning procedures to patients.
• Ensuring patient safety and radiation protection.
• Evaluating CT scans for technical quality.
