Job summary

American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist for a travel assignment in Wynnewood, PA. Shift is 5x8s, days 12:00 PM–8:30 PM, 40 hours/week for 13 weeks.

Requires ARRT CT and ARRT(R) certifications, BLS, Level II trauma experience, and Epic EMR proficiency. Responsibilities include CT imaging of abdomen/pelvis, head/neck, spine, chest and vascular studies; brain perfusion and other special procedures; Siemens CT with PACS post-processing; IV contrast administration in a Level II trauma teaching

Qualifications

• ARRT CT and ARRT R certification required; license if applicable.
• BLS certification required.
• 2–5 years CT Technologist experience; 5+ years preferred.
• Community hospital and Level II trauma experience required; Level I preferred.
• Epic charting system experience required.
• Knowledge of isolation precautions/PPE and radiation safety.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT studies of abdomen/pelvis, head/neck, spine/musculoskeletal, chest and vascular imaging.
• Conduct brain perfusion, colorectal studies, enterography, and IVP.
• Prepare/administration of contrast media and peripheral IV starts.
• Use Siemens CT equipment and PACS for image display and post-processing.
• Epic EMR experience is required.
