Job summary

American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist for an evening shift assignment requiring ARRT (CT), ARRT (R), BLS, and Level II trauma center experience.

Responsibilities include performing CT studies across body regions, conducting advanced procedures, and utilizing Siemens CT with PACS for post-processing. Epic EMR experience and radiation safety knowledge are required; first-time travelers are considered for this role.

Qualifications

• ARRT CT and ARRT(R) certification required; license if applicable.
• BLS certification required.
• 2-5 years CT Technologist experience; 5+ years preferred.
• Community hospital experience required.
• Level II trauma experience required; Level I preferred.
• Teaching hospital experience preferred.
• Epic charting system experience required.
• Knowledge of isolation precautions/PPE and radiation safety required.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT studies of abdomen/pelvis, head/neck, spine/musculoskeletal, chest and vascular imaging.
• Conduct special procedures including brain perfusion, colorectal studies, enterography, and IVP.
• Use Siemens CT equipment and PACS for image display and post-processing including MPR and ROI measurement.
• Prepare and administer contrast media and initiate peripheral IVs.
• Epic EMR experience required.
• 5x8 hour day/evening shifts from 12:00 PM to 8:30 PM.
