Job summary

American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist for a Level I Trauma Center in the New Haven area. Requires 2+ years of CT experience, ARRT (R) certification, and Siemens CT equipment experience. Abdominal/pelvic, chest, head and neck, spine imaging and contrast administration are included.

Night shifts are 7:00 PM–7:30 AM on 3x12-hour schedules, with every other weekend and occasional floats to sister facilities. Travel-ready with housing and reimbursements offered.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of CT Technologist experience
• ARRT (R) certification required
• Siemens equipment experience required
• CT license required if applicable
• Experience with contrast media administration
• Experience starting peripheral IVs
• BLS certification preferred
• Trauma Level I/II experience preferred
• Teaching hospital experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Level I Trauma Center setting with 1,567 beds; adult acute care and outpatient
• Night shift 7:00 PM–7:30 AM, 3x12-hour shifts
• Every other weekend; floating to sister facilities
• Operate Siemens CT equipment; use Epic charting system
• Adhere to isolation precautions and PPE; teal scrubs
• Comply with flu and COVID vaccination requirements
• First-time travelers accepted; local rate radius 75 miles
• Returning staff must have been gone 2 years for traveler status
• RTO approvals up to 7 days
