Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a CT Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment in Coos Bay, Oregon. The CT Tech will operate CT scanners, prepare patients, set parameters, and work closely with radiologists to obtain high-quality diagnostic images. This role includes maintaining equipment, documenting details, and following radiation safety protocols.

The ideal candidate has 1 year of CT experience, a valid radiology license, and current BLS certification. ARRT certification is preferred.

Formación

• One year of recent CT Technologist experience.
• Valid Radiology license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).
• Preferred ARRT Certification.
• Other certifications and licenses may be required for this position.

Responsabilidades

• Operate CT equipment to produce cross-sectional images for diagnostic purposes.
• Prepare patients for procedures, explain imaging process, and position patients.
• Set appropriate technical parameters to demonstrate anatomy and pathology.
• Provide high-quality images to Radiologist for interpretation.
• Adhere to radiation safety standards and hospital policies.
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of CT equipment.
• Document patient information, imaging parameters, and procedural details in the hospital system.
• Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to deliver timely diagnostic services.
• Adapt to different CT equipment and protocols across facilities.
• Perform other duties as assigned within CT Tech scope.
