Wellspring Nurse Source seeks a Travel CT Technologist for a travel assignment in Salmon, Idaho. The role involves performing CT and X-Ray examinations under Radiologist supervision, with a 10-hour shift framework and a 40-hour workweek.

Candidates must have ARRT certification or eligibility, current BLS, and a minimum of two years CT or X-ray experience; venipuncture experience is preferred. A 13-week engagement with a tax-free stipend is offered.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology.
• ARRT certification or eligibility upon hire.
• Minimum two years CT or X-ray experience preferred.
• Detail-oriented, self-motivated and team-oriented.
• Venipuncture experience preferred.
• Possession of at least one advanced modality ARRT license.
• Current BLS certification required upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT and X-Ray procedures according to established protocols.
• Produce diagnostic-quality images for diverse age groups.
• Operate imaging equipment efficiently for diagnostic radiology and CT.
• Maintain timely workflow to meet urgent patient needs and standards.
• Interact with patients to obtain history and explain procedures.
• Review patient charts for implants, allergies, and consent.
• Obtain prior films/exams as necessary for radiologist interpretation.
• Attend to patient care before, during, and after exams.
• Coordinate scan protocols with Radiologist and assist other Technologists.
• Position patients accurately and ensure safety and immobilization as needed.
• Maintain sterile techniques to prevent cross-contamination.
