Qualifications

• Eighteen months of CT tech experience in a healthcare setting.
• ARRT (CT) or ASRT CT certification required.
• Most states require licensure to practice.
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Position patients for CT scans with immobilization and protection.
• Set controls and monitor equipment during procedures.
• Assist radiologist with imaging, IVs, and contrast administration if needed.
• Prepare and deliver oral contrast for CT exams.
• Support interventional CT procedures as required.
• Evaluate image quality and label studies accurately.
• Schedule patients and assist with clerical duties and billing.
