Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a CT Tech for a 13-week travel assignment in Overland Park, Kansas. The CT Tech operates CT scanners to produce cross-sectional images for diagnostic purposes, prepares patients, and collaborates with radiologists to obtain high-quality images. Must have one year of CT experience, a valid Radiology license, and current BLS.

Qualifications

One year of recent experience as a CT Technologist.
Valid Radiology license in compliance with state regulations
Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC)

Responsibilities

Operate CT equipment to produce cross-sectional images for diagnostic purposes.
Prepare patients for procedures, explain imaging process, and position patients.
Set appropriate technical parameters to demonstrate anatomy and pathology.
Provide high-quality images to Radiologist for interpretation.
Adhere to radiation safety standards and hospital policies.
Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of CT equipment.
Document patient information, imaging parameters, and procedural details in the hospital system.
Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to deliver timely diagnostic services.
Adapt to different CT equipment and protocols across facilities.
Perform other CT Tech duties as assigned.
