Job summary

Supplemental Health Care is seeking a Travel CT Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Waimea, Hawaii. Start ASAP with 36 hours per week on 12-hour shifts. Travel employment with potential extension and comprehensive benefits.

Requirements include ARRT certification (R), ARRT CT preferred, active state license, BLS, and 1–2 years radiologic tech experience. Knowledge of CT imaging protocols and anatomy is essential.

Qualifications

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree from an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Current ARRT certification in Radiography (R); ARRT CT certification preferred.
• Active state radiologic technologist license (if applicable).
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association; ACLS preferred.
• 1–2 years of experience as a Radiologic Technologist; prior CT imaging experience strongly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and CT imaging protocols.

Responsibilities

• Using computerized tomography equipment to capture diagnostic images.
• Sterilizing radiologic equipment to ensure the safety of patients.
• Explaining scanning procedures to patients.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort, including appropriate radiation protection practices.
• Evaluating CT scans to determine whether they are of good technical quality.
