Supplemental Health Care is seeking a travel CT Technologist for a contract assignment in Hilo, Hawaii. This role offers 13 weeks of travel work with 40 hours per week, including day and night shifts using 10-hour blocks.

The CT Technologist will perform CT imaging, ensure patient safety, and uphold imaging quality; ARRT certification and an active radiologic license are preferred, with BLS required.

Formación

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree from an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• ARRT certification in Radiography (R); ARRT (CT) certification preferred.
• Active state radiologic technologist license (if applicable).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association; ACLS preferred.
• 1-2 years of experience as a Radiologic Technologist; prior CT imaging experience strongly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and CT imaging protocols.

Responsabilidades

• Using computerized tomography equipment to capture diagnostic images.
• Sterilizing radiologic equipment to ensure the safety of patients.
• Explaining scanning procedures to patients.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort, including appropriate radiation protection practices.
• Evaluating CT scans to determine whether they are of good technical quality.
