Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing-Radiology is seeking a travel CT Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Hilo, Hawaii. The CT Tech will operate CT scanners, prepare patients, and work with radiologists to acquire diagnostic images.

Requirements include one year of CT experience, a valid Radiology license, and current BLS certification; ARRT certification preferred. Travel benefits include competitive pay and day-one benefits.

Qualifications

• One year of recent experience as a CT Technologist.
• Valid Radiology license in compliance with state regulations
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC)
• Current ARRT Certification preferred
• Other certifications and licenses may be required for this position

Responsibilities

• Operate CT equipment to produce cross-sectional images for diagnostic purposes.
• Prepare patients for procedures, explain imaging process, and position patients.
• Set technical parameters to demonstrate anatomy and pathology.
• Provide high-quality images to Radiologist for interpretation.
• Adhere to radiation safety standards and hospital policies.
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of CT equipment.
• Document patient information and imaging details in the hospital system.
• Collaborate with radiologists and physicians to deliver timely diagnostic services.
• Adapt to different CT equipment and protocols across facilities.
• Perform other CT Tech duties as assigned.
