Job summary

TotalMed Allied is seeking a Computed Tomography Technologist for a travel assignment in Gainesville, Florida. The position requires 1 year of CT experience, ARRT CT certification, and BLS, with state licensure as required.

The role involves 12-hour days, 36 hours per week, and a 13-week duration. Responsibilities include performing CT exams, ensuring patient safety, and using McKesson PACS for imaging management.

Qualifications

• 1 year of CT experience
• BLS certification and ARRT (CT) with registration
• State-specific licensing when required
• Able to stand/walk for long periods and know anatomy/physiology

Responsibilities

• Verify patient identification and explain imaging procedures to patients
• Interpret doctors' instructions
• Position patients for scans
• Acquire diagnostic CT images with equipment
• Administer radiocontrast agents as needed
• Evaluate CT images for technical quality
• Follow radiation safety procedures
• Maintain accurate patient records
• Use McKesson PACS system
