Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a CT Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment in Camden, SC. The role requires 1 year of CT experience, a valid Radiology license, and current BLS certification. The tech will operate CT equipment, position patients, and ensure image quality for radiologists.

Qualifications

• One year of recent experience as a CT Technologist.
• Valid Radiology license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).
• Preferred ARRT Certification; other licenses may be required.

Responsibilities

• Operate CT equipment to produce cross-sectional images for diagnostic purposes.
• Prepare patients for procedures, explain imaging process and position patients appropriately.
• Set appropriate technical parameters to optimize image quality.
• Provide high-quality images to Radiologist for interpretation.
• Adhere to radiation safety standards and hospital policies.
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of CT equipment.
• Document patient information and imaging parameters in hospital system.
• Collaborate with radiologists and physicians to deliver timely diagnostic services.
