Job summary

CommonSpirit Health in Omaha, NE is seeking a National Internal Traveler CT Technologist to deliver advanced CT procedures across our network. You will work under physician direction to perform complex imaging, process studies, and contribute to high-quality interpretations while maintaining ALARA and patient safety.

You will assess patients, assist with interventional procedures, optimize protocols, document histories, and participate in quality improvement and regulatory compliance efforts

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Minimum of 2 years of recent clinical radiology experience in a hospital or imaging setting.
• ARRT RT (Radiography) certification.
• ARRT RT (CT) certification.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and explain procedure expectations and post-exam care.
• Assist physicians with interventional procedures, including needle localizations, aspirations, and biopsies, using strict aseptic technique.
• Optimize diagnostic results by selecting appropriate equipment, factors, and protocols while following safety standards (Image Gently/Image Wisely).
• Maintain accurate clinical records with patient histories to support interpretation and continuity of care.
• Conduct equipment performance and quality assessments and report variations or shortages to management.
• Participate in quality improvement projects and regulatory audits to ensure Joint Commission and CMS compliance.
