Job summary

American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist (Multimodality) for a 13-week travel contract in Plano, TX. The position requires ARRT(R) and ARRT(CT) certifications and at least 2 years of X-ray and CT experience.

Responsibilities include imaging across modalities, patient positioning, dose monitoring, infection control, sterile technique, and documentation. Work: 4x10 hour nights, Tue–Fri, 10:00 PM–8:30 AM; travel housing and reimbursements provided.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of X-ray and CT experience.
• Active ARRT(R) and ARRT(CT) certifications required.
• BLS certification required (AHA only).
• TX MRT license required if applicable.
• Two professional references required for consideration.
• Flu shot required with no exemptions.
• DOB and SSN required for consideration.

Responsibilities

• Imaging/Multimodality department serving ambulatory and hospital patients.
• Performs procedures across imaging disciplines including X-ray and CT.
• 4x10 hour night shifts, Tue–Fri, 10:00 PM – 8:30 AM.
• 13-week travel contract in Plano, TX.
• Performs high-quality multimodality imaging per exam protocols.
• Positioning, radiation dose monitoring, infection control, sterile technique, and documentation.
• Uses iSTAT point-of-care testing for creatinine levels where applicable.
• Follows AIDET when interacting with patients and families.
• May serve as a preceptor for new team members or during new service rollouts.
• Black scrubs required.
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility.
