Zusammenfassung

TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel CT Technologist for a travel assignment in Charleston, SC. The CT Tech will operate CT equipment, prepare patients, and deliver high-quality images for interpretation, with a rotating 12-hour shift schedule and 36 hours per week.

Required: 1 year CT experience, BLS, ACLS, ARRT CT, ARRT R, and state licensing as applicable. Additional certifications may be required before starting the assignment.

Qualifikationen

• Must have 1 year of CT experience.
• BLS, ACLS, ARRT CT certification with registration in CT, and state licensing as required.
• Familiarity with radiology safety procedures and anatomy knowledge.
• Able to operate CT equipment and ensure high quality diagnostic images.

Aufgaben

• Confirm patient identification and explain procedures to patients.
• Interpret doctors' instructions and position patients for scans.
• Capture diagnostic CT images using CT equipment.
• Administer radiocontrast agents when prescribed.
• Evaluate image quality and ensure safety protocols are followed.
• Maintain patient records and use the PACS system.
