Job summary

TotalMed Allied is actively seeking a Computed Tomography Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment in Bronx, NY. The CT Tech will work 40 hours weekly, 12-hour evening shifts, and must have ARRT (CT) certification, BLS, and proper state licensing.

Continued duties include patient positioning, image acquisition, and PACS usage. Candidates should have at least 1 year of CT experience and be proficient in anatomy and safety procedures while maintaining patient records and following radiation

Qualifications

• 1 year CT experience required.
• BLS certification required; ARRT CT certification and state licensing as applicable.
• Proficient with imaging procedures and patient positioning.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients and explain procedures.
• Interpret doctors' instructions.
• Position patients for scans to target specific body areas.
• Operate CT equipment to capture diagnostic images.
• Administer radiocontrast agents as needed to enhance images.
• Evaluate image quality and ensure patient safety with radiation.
• Maintain accurate patient records and use PACS system.
