Job summary

TotalMed Allied seeks a CT Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment in Boise, ID. You will perform CT imaging, ensure high-quality studies, and support physicians with accurate image interpretation and patient care.

Requirements include 1 year of CT experience, BLS, ARRT (CT) certification with current registration, and any required state licensure. The role demands attention to anatomy knowledge, safety, and efficient PACS use.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year CT experience.
• BLS and ARRT CT certification with active registration.
• State-specific license where required.
• Ability to stand/walk for long periods and knowledge of anatomy and terminology.

Responsibilities

• Identify patients and explain imaging procedures to provide reassurance.
• Interpret doctors' instructions for scanning.
• Position patients for CT scans to target anatomical areas.
• Operate CT equipment to acquire diagnostic images.
• Administer radiocontrast agents as needed.
• Review images for quality and accuracy.
• Follow radiation safety procedures and maintain patient records.
• Utilize the McKesson PACS system for image storage and retrieval.
