Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a skilled Travel CT Tech for a 13-week assignment in Bar Harbor, Maine. The CT Tech will operate CT scanners, prepare patients, ensure image quality, and collaborate with radiologists to deliver diagnostic services.

Required qualifications include one year of CT experience, a valid radiology license, and current BLS certification. Preferred ARRT certification and other licensure may be required.

Qualifications

• One year of recent experience as a CT Technologist.
• Valid Radiology license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).

Responsibilities

• Operate CT equipment to produce cross-sectional images for diagnosis.
• Prepare and position patients, explaining the imaging process.
• Set technical parameters to clearly demonstrate anatomy and pathology.
• Provide high-quality images to Radiologist for interpretation.
• Adhere to radiation safety standards and hospital policies.
• Perform routine maintenance and basic troubleshooting of CT equipment.
• Document patient information and imaging parameters in the system.
• Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and staff to deliver timely services.
• Adapt to different CT equipment and protocols across facilities.
