Supplemental Health Care is seeking a CT Technologist for a travel assignment in Presque Isle, Maine. The role involves performing CT scans, ensuring patient safety, and maintaining image quality across 40 hour weeks on day/night shifts.

The position requires an ARRT credential and an Associate’s or Bachelor’s in Radiologic Technology, with BLS and CT experience preferred. Contract is 13 weeks with potential extension.

Qualifications

• Requires Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Radiologic Technology.
• ARRT certification in Radiography (R); CT certification preferred.
• Active state radiologic technologist license (if applicable).
• BLS certification required; ACLS preferred.
• 1–2 years of Radiologic Technologist experience; CT imaging experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate CT imaging equipment to acquire diagnostic CT images.
• Ensure radiation safety and patient comfort during procedures.
• Explain procedures to patients and obtain cooperation for scans.
• Assess image quality and adjust protocols as needed.
• Maintain sterile technique and equipment cleanliness.
