Job summary

American Traveler is seeking an experienced CT Technologist to join a hospital radiology department. The role requires ARRT CT and ARRT R certification, with at least two years of CT experience, and a current BLS certification.

You will perform a broad range of CT imaging, including ICU and trauma-adjacent studies, using PACS and Toshiba equipment. Responsibilities include adult acute care, ED, portable and OR imaging, with heavy emphasis on contrast administration, radiation safety, and

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of CT technologist experience required.
• ARRT CT and ARRT R certification required.
• BLS certification required. Fluoro permit preferred.
• State license required; compact license if applicable.
• Experience in trauma centers and ICU settings preferred.
• Procedural competencies in contrast media, venipuncture, and radiation safety.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT imaging across abdomen, pelvis, head/neck, spine, and chest.
• Handle contrast procedures and post-processing; use PACS and Toshiba CT equipment.
• Work in adult acute care, outpatient, and ED settings; may float to sister facilities.
• Maintain Epic EMR documentation and comply with holidays and scheduling.
• Ensure patient safety and radiation protection during portable, OR, NICU, PICU, and ICU imaging.
