Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced CT Technologist for a night shift travel assignment requiring proficiency in diagnostic CT imaging and the ability to also perform diagnostic x-ray.

Details

• Radiology department setting performing diagnostic CT imaging including angiography and biopsy procedures
• Must also be able to perform diagnostic x-ray
• 13-week assignment with 36 hours per week
• Overnight shift from 5:30 PM to 6:00 AM, with possibility of day/evening coverage
• Flexibility with weekly schedule required due to 24/7 department coverage, may include some weekend hours
• 25-mile float policy between facilities as needed

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of CT Technologist experience required
• License required if applicable
• Proficiency in all diagnostic CT imaging including angiography and biopsy procedures
• Ability to perform diagnostic x-ray
• Experience with Siemens equipment preferred
• Ability to work independently
• Epic EMR experience
• Valid driver's license required for consideration
• 2 professional references required

Additional Information

• Work in a department with warmer coastal weather during winter months, near walking trails and ski resorts
• Scrub or dress code and other facility policies apply
• Air pods, laptops, and cell phone usage on the unit is prohibited
• Local candidates within 90 miles of any MaineHealth facility are considered local and not eligible for renewals or extensions
• RTO should be kept to a minimum, with 3-4 days considered reasonable for a 13-week contract at the manager's discretion
• Candidates who have worked at any MaineHealth facility within the past 12 months should indicate this upon consideration
