HealthTrust Workforce Solutions seeks a travel CT Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Andalusia, Alabama. The role requires working four 10-hour night shifts, with duties across X-ray and CT departments as needed.

You will review orders, educate patients, prepare contrast, monitor patients, ensure safety, and report imaging results. ARRT RD/CT certification and BLS are required; associate degree in radiologic technology with CT certificate preferred.

Formación

• Must have BLS certification through the American Heart Association.
• ARRT certification in RD & CT must be attached to the submission.
• Education: associate degree in radiologic technology; CT certificate preferred.
• Must have 2 years recent experience in Radiology & CT.
• Will be required to float between X-ray & CT departments.
• Shifts will be (4) 10-hour shifts Monday - Thursday.

Reviews patient history and physician's orders. Educates patient regarding procedures, equipment and exam to ensure patient's understanding and cooperation. When ordered, prepares and administers contrast media and/or medications within scope of practice. Monitors patient condition continually and reports/responds to changes in status as appropriate. Prepares equipment and supplies. Implements safety standards and performs appropriate quality control procedures on equipment. Troubleshoots, resolves, and/or reports equipment malfunctions as necessary. Positions patient and performs imaging procedure(s). Analyzes results and identifies issues with the quality of imaging results. Takes appropriate action to resolve image quality issues, including repositioning patient and repeating procedure. Enters, transmits and reports scan results.

Facility Requirements:

• Must have BLS certification, these must be attached to the submission (Must be through the American Heart Association)
