Description

American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist with 2+ years of experience and ARRT (CT) certification for a night shift role at a Certified Comprehensive Stroke Center.

Details

• Work in the Cat Scan department of an 18-bed imaging unit
• Night shift staffing includes a charge RN, on-call team, and 3-4 CT techs depending on volume
• Patient ratios of 1:1 to 1:2 depending on patient stability
• All GE equipment including MRI units, scanners, cameras, x-ray, and fluoroscopy
• Facility recently added a new state-of-the-art 1.2 million dollar CT scanner
• Uses Meditech EMR
• Schedule is Sunday-Wednesday 8:00 PM to 6:30 AM
• 13-week assignment

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of CT Tech experience
• ARRT (CT) and BLS certification required
• License required if applicable
• RT (T) and ASRT certification preferred
• FASRT preferred
• Experience with GE equipment and Meditech EMR strongly preferred
• Strong communication, medical, anatomical, and mechanical aptitude skills
• Ability to multi-task and work with a variety of physicians, radiologists, and patients
