Location: Cape May, NJ

Assignment Duration: 13‑week contract position.

Schedule: Night shift from Wednesday to Friday, 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM.

Job Description

The CT Technologist performs computerised tomographic procedures in accordance with hospital standards, state, and federal regulations while ensuring timely execution of routine procedures. This role requires a comprehensive knowledge of cross‑sectional anatomy and CT‑specific applications, adherence to universal precautions and infection control policies, and maintaining the quality and accuracy of imaging documentation.

Responsibilities

• Conduct computerised tomographic procedures within a 45‑minute timeframe for routine imaging.
• Verify image presence and documentation in the PACS.
• Interview patients to gather pertinent information and clinical history, ensuring all necessary forms are completed.
• Provide educational information and instructions to patients and their families regarding procedures.
• Engage in continuous quality improvement through documentation, data collection, and customer satisfaction assessments.
• Assume responsibility for the physical and psychological needs of patients during procedures.
• Participate in ongoing professional development and maintain necessary licensure and certifications.
• Attend staff and departmental meetings and perform additional duties as assigned.
