Job summary

American Traveler is seeking a CT Technologist for a travel assignment in Raleigh, North Carolina. This night-shift position runs 3x12 hours per week (36 hours) in a hospital setting, performing CT studies with and without contrast.

Requirements include ARRT-CT certification, 2+ years CT experience, BLS, Epic charting, PACS and Siemens systems, and proficiency in 3D post-processing and contrast administration. Travel experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform abdomen/pelvis, head/neck, spine/musculoskeletal, and chest CT studies with and without contrast.
• Work nights on a 12-hour shift schedule, 3x12 hours.
• Operate with PACS and Epic charting in a hospital setting, using Siemens equipment.
• Collaborate with radiology team across adult acute care, ED, ICU and outpatient areas.
• Uphold patient safety, isolation precautions, and infection control standards.

American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist with ARRT-CT certification and 2+ years of recent CT experience for a night shift assignment.

Details

• CT Tech unit within a hospital setting
• Night shift schedule, 3x12 hours, Friday-Sunday 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Work settings include adult acute care, adult outpatient, emergency department, and ICU
• Performs abdomen/pelvis, head/neck, spine/musculoskeletal, and chest CT studies with and without contrast
• Special procedures may include aspirations, biopsies, brain perfusion, drainage, and myelography
• Uses PACS and Siemens equipment with Epic charting system

Requirements

• ARRT-CT certification required; license required if applicable
• BLS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of recent CT Tech experience required
• Epic charting experience required
• PACS and Siemens equipment experience required
• Experience with image display and post-processing, including 3D rendering and ROI measurement

Additional Information

• Must pass an onsite EKG/Telemetry exam during orientation
• Flu vaccine required with no exemptions or declinations accepted
• Scrub color requirement: black or wine
• Orientation occurs on a biweekly schedule
• 1 supervisory reference from within the last year required for consideration
• Local candidates accepted at a reduced rate within a 75-mile radius
• Candidates with prior permanent employment at the facility must not have worked there within the past 6 months
