American Traveler is seeking a CT Technologist for a travel assignment in Burlington, North Carolina. The role requires ARRT CT certification, at least 1 year of CT experience, BLS, active licensure if applicable, and Epic EMR familiarity.

You will work 3x12-hour day shifts on a 36-hour workweek, with no on-call requirements. The assignment spans 13 weeks with travel between campuses as needed, using Siemens CT equipment and PACS.

Description

American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist with ARRT CT certification and at least 1 year of experience for a hospital-based imaging role.

Details

• CT Tech unit within a hospital setting
• 3x12-hour day shifts, Wednesday through Friday, 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM
• No call requirements
• May float to any campus within the health system as needed
• Uses Siemens CT equipment and PACS imaging system
• Epic EMR experience required
• Preferred experience with neonatal, infant, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patient populations

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of CT Technologist experience required
• Current BLS certification required
• ARRT CT certification required
• Active license required if applicable, must be in hand at time of submission
• Epic EMR experience required
• Experience with abdomen and pelvis CT with and without contrast preferred
• Experience with chest and head/neck CT with and without contrast preferred
• Experience with special procedures such as biopsies, aspirations, brain perfusion, CT arthrography, drainage, myelography, and vascular CTA preferred
• Experience with cervical, lumbar, thoracic spine and musculoskeletal trauma imaging preferred
• Experience preparing and/or administering contrast media preferred
• Experience starting peripheral IVs preferred
• Current driver's license required for address verification

Additional Information

• Work in adult acute care and emergency department settings
• Completion of compliance EKG exam required with up to two attempts allowed
• Non-billable orientation modules averaging 2-4 hours, with hours varying by unit
• Third-party education verification required, with degrees from schools on the Florida Diploma Fraud Audit list not accepted
• No open background check cases permitted
• Candidates must reside at least 50 miles from the facility, local candidates not accepted
• RTO must be submitted with initial application; no post-submission RTO requests accepted
