The role involves operating CT scanners (GE Optima or similar), with experience in Mipping/subtractions for CTA head and neck, using AW workstation and software. The tech may start IVs, with ER nursing staff assisting, and will administer contrast. Shifts typically include days (7a-7p or 9a-9p) and nights (7p-7a). The average number of exams per day is about 52, with approximately 17 CTs daily.
