Description

American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist with at least 1 year of experience, including Emergency Department and advanced CT imaging skills, for a night shift contract position.

Details

• Hospital-based CT scan unit
• Emergency Department experience required, with exposure to a broad range of CT imaging studies
• Procedures include abdomen, pelvis, chest, vascular chest (PE, CTA, aorta), carotid, head, sinuses, soft tissue neck, trauma head, cervical, lumbar, thoracic, and musculoskeletal trauma
• Advanced imaging techniques including 3D rendering (MIP, surface shaded displays, volume rendering), multiplanar reconstruction (MPR), and region of interest (ROI) measurement
• Contrast media preparation and/or administration required
• 3x12 night shifts, Wednesday through Friday, 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM
• No on‑call required
• No weekend requirement
• Epic EMR — proficiency required with experience within the past year in the same unit type; candidates without prior Parkview facility Epic experience may be required to attend Epic orientation at a facility approximately 1.5 hours away

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of CT technologist experience
• ARRT (R) certification required
• Current BLS required
• Indiana state license required (pending license accepted)
• Proficiency with Epic EMR required, with verifiable experience within the past year
• Experience with PACS systems required
• Proficiency in radiation safety and isolation precautions/PPE required
• License required if applicable

• Block scheduling can be accommodated
• RTO is ideally limited to no more than 5 days for the duration of the assignment
• All time off and scheduling requests should be disclosed upfront
• 2 professional supervisor references from within the past 2 years required for consideration
