American Traveler seeks a CT Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment in Newton, Massachusetts. The role requires 1 year of radiology experience and ARRT registration; CT registry preferred. You will perform CT imaging for patients from newborn to geriatric, on a 3x12 hour day shift schedule, 36 hours per week.

Start date is contingent on credentialing; weekend coverage is required. Epic charting is used; BLS is required.

Description

American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist with at least 1 year of radiology experience and ARRT registration to perform CT imaging for patients of all ages.

Details

• 13-week assignment in the Cat Scan department
• Weekend schedule: Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM
• Serves patients ranging from newborn to geriatric age
• Uses Epic for charting
• Start date is contingent on completion of credentialing clearance

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology
• Minimum of 1 year of Radiology experience required
• ARRT registration as RT(R) or RT(N) required; ARRT registry in Computed Tomography preferred
• If no CT license at time of hire, must obtain CT License within one year
• Current BLS certification required (AHA preferred)
• License required if applicable
• Knowledge of the special needs and behaviors of adult and older adult patients preferred
• Skilled in inserting and removing IVs

Additional Information

• Performs CT procedures under the direction of a qualified physician, technical specialist, and CT Operations Manager
• Operates imaging equipment to produce quality diagnostic images according to federal, state, local, and hospital policies
• Uses prescribed levels of ionizing radiation in accordance with safety protocols
• Flu vaccination required during flu season with no religious or medical exemptions allowed
• Local candidates accepted if permanent residence is within 60 miles of Boston, Massachusetts, at a reduced rate
