Travel Nurse Across America Allied is seeking a travel CT Technologist for a travel job in Boise, Idaho.

We are looking for a Computed Tomography Technologist (CT Tech) for an immediate travel opening in Boise, ID. The ideal candidate must have at least 1 year of experience. Read below for additional requirements.

As a CT Tech, you will be responsible for operating computed tomography equipment and ensuring the accuracy of images for physician interpretation. You will also prepare patients for scans and provide patient care during the procedure.

Tasks

As a CT Tech, you should be prepared to perform the following tasks :

  • Confirm patient identification, review imaging requests, and explain procedures to patients, providing reassurance and support as needed.
  • Interpret doctors' written instructions accurately.
  • Position patients appropriately for specific scans.
  • Operate CT equipment to capture diagnostic images of internal organs and tissues.
  • Administer radiocontrast agents to enhance image quality.
  • Evaluate CT scans for technical quality.
  • Follow safety protocols when working with radiation.
  • Use the McKesson PACS system effectively.
Requirements

Applicants must have:

  • At least 1 year of experience as a CT Tech.
  • Current ARRT (CT) certification and registration.
  • State-specific licensing if required.
  • BLS certification.
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lean for long periods.
  • Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.

Additional certifications may be required before starting the assignment.
