Overview

TNAA TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel CT Technologist for a travel assignment in Idaho Falls, Idaho.

Responsibilities

• As a CT Tech, operate computed tomography equipment to capture diagnostic images and ensure accuracy for medical interpretation.
• Prepare and care for patients undergoing CT scanning, including patient positioning and procedural explanations.
• Confirm patient identification, review imaging requests, and communicate imaging procedures to patients with reassurance and support as required.
• Interpret doctors' written instructions and follow established safety procedures when working with radiation.
• Position patients to scan specific areas of their bodies and ensure images meet technical quality standards.
• Administer radiocontrast agents to enhance visualization of internal organs and tissues as appropriate.
• Maintain accurate patient records and understand and use the PACS system.

Requirements

• Must have 1 year of CT experience.
• Must have BLS and ARRT (CT) certification with registration in computed tomography; state-specific licensing when required.
• Ability to stand and walk for long periods; good knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology and medical terminology.
• Additional certifications may be required before beginning an assignment.
