TNAA TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel CT Technologist for a travel assignment in Idaho Falls, Idaho.
Responsibilities
As a CT Tech, operate computed tomography equipment to capture diagnostic images and ensure accuracy for medical interpretation.
Prepare and care for patients undergoing CT scanning, including patient positioning and procedural explanations.
Confirm patient identification, review imaging requests, and communicate imaging procedures to patients with reassurance and support as required.
Interpret doctors' written instructions and follow established safety procedures when working with radiation.
Position patients to scan specific areas of their bodies and ensure images meet technical quality standards.
Administer radiocontrast agents to enhance visualization of internal organs and tissues as appropriate.
Maintain accurate patient records and understand and use the PACS system.
Requirements
Must have 1 year of CT experience.
Must have BLS and ARRT (CT) certification with registration in computed tomography; state-specific licensing when required.
Ability to stand and walk for long periods; good knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology and medical terminology.
Additional certifications may be required before beginning an assignment.
