Job summary

TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel CT Technologist for a travel job in Waverly, Tennessee. The role runs for 13 weeks with 36 hours per week, on a 12-hour days shift. Immediate opening for a CT Tech with 1 year of experience and ARRT CT certification, BLS and state license as required.

Position involves imaging patients, operating CT equipment, contrast administration, and PACS usage, with benefits via TotalMed Allied for travel assignments across TN.

Qualifications

• Must have 1 year of experience.
• Must have BLS, ARRT (CT) certification with registration where required.

Responsibilities

• Confirm patient identification, review imaging requests and explain imaging procedures to patients.
• Interpret doctors' written instructions.
• Position patients to scan specific areas of their bodies.
• Use CT equipment to capture diagnostic images.
• Administer radiocontrast agents.
• Evaluate CT scans for technical quality.
• Follow safety procedures with radiation.
• Maintain patient records.
• Understand and use the McKesson PACS system.
