TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel CT Technologist for an immediate travel opening in Reno, NV. The role lasts 13 weeks, with 36 hours per week on 12-hour day shifts, offering a travel assignment within Nevada. Must have 1 year of CT experience, BLS, ARRT (CT) certification, and state licensing where required.

Qualifications

• 1 year CT technologist experience required.
• BLS and ARRT (CT) certification with CT registration.
• State licensing as required where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Confirm patient identification and explain imaging procedures to patients.
• Interpret doctor instructions accurately for imaging procedures.
• Position patients to scan targeted areas of their bodies.
• Operate CT equipment to capture diagnostic images.
• Administer radiocontrast agents as needed.
• Evaluate CT images for technical quality.
• Follow radiation safety procedures.
• Maintain accurate patient records.
• Understand and use PACS systems (McKesson).
